I was already partially sold due to nostalgia for the original, but that scene got me a lil hyped (watched on computer screen at tha gig, can only imagine watching that on IMax or Dolby)

Just watched the original again two nights ago. Bought my tickets for tomorrow already

Matinee tomorrow

Saw this last night.. fkn phenomenal.. I loved it all.. going to see it again with the wife after I sit her down and make her watch the first one.. even though it’s not really needed..

The first is only necessary for the emotional aspects of the film. This film's character "Rooster" doesn't hit as hard if you don't see the first movie featuring his father "Goose".

IMO, the first isn't skippable, even though they made this film in a way that you don't need to see the first. I grew up on the first, and this new film feels more complete with it.

Posted in the other thread, the only way to watch this is an IMAX.

Do yourself a favor, go watch it in IMAX and enjoy a summer blockbuster. The flying scenes are unbelievable
