I'm looking at dudes parents, not his grandparents. If his grandfather sensed his grandson was going to hurt his wife, I'm sure he woulda put a stop to that sh*t real quick.

The grandmother isn’t dead the article says she’s in “Critical condition” let’s just hope and pray for the best

Sad sh*t, you never know what's going through someone's mind... no matter how close you are.

Sounds like the grand dad was just a detached parent who thought everything was on autopilot as long as his grandson had a roof over his head and food to eat.

I don't think that's uncommon for grandparents or some parents in general. When children grow to being young adults, detachment happens and they don't open up the way they used to when they were small.

What a bad situation for everyone. Rest In Peace to the victims and may the families find comfort in their grieving.
