im not a kendrick superfan but i prefer him over all these junkie/drill/etc rappers. so i try to support when i can.

i appreciate the creative ambition and the risks he took on this album. but SONICALLY...the production, rhyme/melody structures, etc...were just boring and largely uninspired. theres no real reason to go back and listen unfortunately.

i hope that doesnt discourage other rap artists for venturing away from the typical content. we need as much balance and subject diversity as possible.

Man I ran it back 3 times with the misses on the road trip last weekend. Maybe it was that many times because we were on the road but it sounded wonderful to me. I did throw that Pusha T on after and I have to admit the Virginia native got the better album. Just my take

This is a stupid analogy. Why shouldn’t they track sales. Big name artist are still selling. Don’t try to move the goal post because someone you like isn’t doing great. Drake still sells, J cole sells as well.

The album will go platinum and from the content and roll out it's clear he gives no fu*ks about sales. Only King Kendrick gets threads about projected week 2 sales on BX.

n*ggas tried to make 300k first week and another #1 album seem like a failure and now this. So be it.

Kenny my 2nd most listened to artist of all time but yea I probably wont be playing this album as much going forward.Still a good a*s album but cant just throw this on at any time of the day.

That era isn't over. Kendrick dropped an amazing concept album.

And it's one of the highest selling concept albums.

Let it be what it is. Only album that should be compared to this is 4:44 and even in that case Jay played it way safer.. So you have more replay value vs a deeper message..

I was always a k.dot super fan but I haven't even finished this album and have no desire to go back
