Older brother of a white kid in my 5th grade class had the album when it dropped. Kid made me a tape recording of it. I had it in my book bag and was gonna play it on my parents stereo system when they left the house. Never got a chance because my little brother went in my bag and showed the tape to my parents. Luckily for me the kid recorded Real Slim Shady as the first track before he recorded the rest of the album. My parents took half a listen to that sh*t and beat my a*s. Can you imagine if they heard Public Service Announcement first?? Good times.

Some how got a hold of the album the following year on CD and listened to it the entire way to Islands of Adventure in Orlando on the end of the year trip.

Dre laced him on here..but this is when Em was just getting his feet wet with his production...you can hear the difference between him, Dre and oh yea the OG Mel-Man blessed Em too...damn I was 16 when this came out

Classic material. Still gets spins to this day

Never forget the first time I heard k*ll you the first song I had to run it back immediately..the whole album is almost flawless
