I remember trying MK:11 like "jesus christ an actual boxing exhibition is probably easier than this sh*t"

I might go back and play it on easy just for the story because I remember the Deadly Alliance era MK games having really great narratives and fun game modes.

Tbh this the first one that really seems like it could give Smash a run for it's money.

At the end of the day it's really all about the character Roster and it just seems like WB is so much deeper than Nickelodeon on iconic characters that have sort of survived beyond their original generations while the nicktoons sort of get stuck where they are.

Like, even as somebody in my late...late....late 20's (i.e. 30), my friends who are 25/26 pull out so these Spongebob references and I'm like "yeah bruh I never saw that one"

They're going to make so much bank off of DLC characters with this.

f*ghting Games are very difficult because they are the only genre aside from MOBAs where you will lose, and lose, and lose again - You literally have to take thousands of Ls to “Get Good” in f*ghting Games

A change of pace with a lower bar of entry to play is needed for the culture, in and of itself - The parity helps cause the competitive circuit will take a lot out of you mentally

Oh yeah, I was watching this anime a while back that focused on the f*ghting game boom of the late 80's/90's in Japan that really illustrated how serious those competitions were. Never really saw the appeal of watching game streams especially when it's sh*t like COD or fortnite, but that's one of the few types of games I'd actually enjoy watching people play.

Hardcore f*ghting gamers are a different breed man.

I am a mere casual and I still barely tread water in the Deep End

Super Gold in Street f*ghter V is the furthest I’ve ever gotten and there’s so many who play tens of thousands of hours - Aside from not having a wealth of time, I couldn’t imagine dedicating thousands of hours to a game like that. It’s fu*king fun, but not thousands upon thousands of hours just to win more than the Internet level fun

If this came out on n64..the graphics would be trash a*s lol and wouldn't have the same appeal. Wrestling and shooting games held me over on n64
