The issue is these corporations and greedy land developers buying land and building apartments then maxing out the monthly price to the point you need either a roommate or a significant other to help make ends meet and that's still not a guarantee.

Richmond Highway leading into Crystal City is doing that now.

When you have foreign corporations buying billions of dollars worth of single family homes for investment purposes, things can certainly get worse. Everything in the US is for sale and the pressure to continuously increas profits means we are reaching a critical point. Can't afford rent, healthcare, an education...basic sh*t that people need. Pure greed. A lot of places won't even offer anything more than a one year lease now, take a wild guess why. This country is infected with a cancer, being eaten from the inside out.

I'll just say this. I'm fortunate enough to not be affected by the housing crisis and not hurting from the rising inflation. That being said, I also don't care for Joe Biden and warned people NOT to vote for him....but the truth is we'd all be in the exact same situation regardless of who was in president....even if 45 remained. The 2020 pandemic was the last straw with the loads of money, supply chain shut downs, housing forbearance and so on.

The entire world is going through insanely high
