I feel like Pastor Troy don’t get the respect he deserves.

He was putting on for the South early.

Universal Soldier yeah 'cause it sounded like that mainstream push to squares (Who don't know nothin about undaground & classic country rap tunes) only made his whole style sound like a parody smh...
Buut once he went back indie (Tool Muzik, Attitude Adjuster) he was home

As a east coast n*gga, Outkast & Goodie Mob introduced me to ATL Hip-Hop (YES LORDDD).

But in '98/'99, when the "Nomo Play In GA" song dropped, I completely lost my sh*t. I heard nothin like it before, and was completely addicted. I personally consider it my introduction to Crunk music, long before Lil Jon. I heard in mixed on a late night hip-hop radio show. I didnt know the n*gga name or how he looked. I finally found his name in the Source magazine, found that album, paid like $17 (way more than I usually paid for cds, but I couldnt find that cd anywhere, so I had to take the L on the price). But when I threw that sh*t in the whip, I was not even slightly disappointed. CLASSIC out the gate. And I STILL bump that album all the way through.

"No Mo Play In GA" album is TRAGICALLY underrated CLASSIC album.

No Mo Play In GA I'm certain caused more club homicides and f*ghts back in the day too. When that thang came on it was nothing but mosh pit.

Exactly this. His run is legendary and should be acknowledged and respected by a lot of these newer ATL cats today.

This album was too damn hard.

Hell 2 Pay, Face Off 2, and Universal Soldier were all great in my book. I copped Tool Muzik too it was ok.

Edit: and we definitely can't forget them 2 DSGB albums got damn
