![]() According to authorities, ATF officers reviewed Otis’ Instagram profile in November 2020, which was identified as user “hawaii.jj.” They said they confirmed his identification by comparing some of the photographs to his Michigan driver’s license photo.
Agents saw a post on Otis’ Instagram story in the third week of June 2021 requesting his followers to contact him if they had a PNC Bank or Chime bank account. Officials said Otis tweeted an image using a snapshot from California’s EDD Unemployment Claim website at 2:19 p.m. on July 5, 2021. According to police, he labeled the photograph with a message that said, “Another one for y’all easy 10k tappin” and said, “Unemployment Insurance benefits issued between 07/02/2021 and 07/05/2021 $20,850.” According to court papers, he provided a link to the California unemployment claims website. According to police, another photograph was shared at 1:40 p.m. on July 12, 2021, saying that if one of his followers has a photo ID and social security number, Otis would a*sist them in receiving $10,000. According to court records, Otis stated that he would need to be reimbursed for his efforts. Otis is accused of writing, “Who trynna make (some money) 18+ wit ID and ssn.” “10k. If you’re not trying to break a slice of pie, don’t even try to slide up. I have to eat too.” ![]() Last edited by livekomik; 05-19-2022 at 07:58 AM.. |
