It happens to everyone who’s great… when people encounter greatness most embrace it, enjoy, and appreciate it - but at the same time there a legion of people who feel threatened by greatness. Maybe it threatens their selfish views or opinions or their own insecurities. LeBron is a perfect example of this, most have embraced and appreciated the greatness of LeBron even if you root against him most still recognize how great he truly is - but then you have this legion of people who hate him because he threatened their opinion of MJ, or Kobe, or for whatever other reason.

You can be a fan of Kendrick and still love Lupe's work.

I think Tetsuo and Youth and Dragos Waves are great albums and in fact his mini EP in House that came in 2020 was also solid. Lupe doesn't get enough credit for being a great artist and is criminally underrated.

It’s still a mid album to me. Honestly. BUT I do like the subject matter, and I think it’s very important on some real sh*t, and needs to be talked about more than the back n forth between the Stan’s and haters
