You gotta have a little screen in it makes it easier for people in my opinion. Also I have a 3 megapixel security camera setup in it so we can make down and dirty little booth style music videos Last edited by luck; 05-13-2022 at 01:24 AM..

To be honest I don't know what I'm looking at. Sound proofing/panels is not abstract art where you just throw it up everywhere and hope for the best. There is a science behind treating the room that you're planning to record in.
A simple youtube check on applying sound proofing will get you right. Like someone else said on here, measure twice so you can cut once. That said, good luck. |

Looks good, but like people said, those acoustic foam set up is not right at all, at least stacked them
You cut two small pieces to cover a hole and why is everything like......forget it ..you ever played Tetris..... The simplest set up was to put everything straight, imagine tile floors |

Nothing will sound as good as truly getting the room treated inside the walls so focus on a high quality mic and getting the cleanest vocals possible. I’d grab a Kaotica eyeball as a backup they’re great if you just say fu*k room treatment entirely. Some feel it makes the vocals sound too dry so beware of that before you buy!

Good sh*t but you gotta move some of those acoustic pads bruh. Take some of the lower ones off and put them where the top of the wall connects to the celing. Either bend them and tack em up or cut them in half and tack em up without leaving any bare edges. Thats where 85 percent of your ugly reverb is going to come from. Also Put at least 2 on the celing, 1 slightly over the mic and 1 over where the artist is going to be standing. If youre using the closet as a booth make sure you have all of the wall edges covered ftom the celing to at least a foot below the mic. If you live in an apartment or just dont want nail holes everywhere slide to walmart or home depot and get you a can of this Super effective but cleans up easy when its time to close up shop and move on. |

Yup pretty much got the same set up i use an old ps3 eye cam in my vocal booth and got a couple other cams in the control room for when I make how to vids or just to capture the sessions. Havent been working in there to much tho cuz if winter I also have half the studio In my room and prefer it when it's cold as fu*k but now that spring and summer here everything getting moved back into the bigger room. Also use that sh*t as my work out room Don't worry bout ya panels either these guys all trippin.. id honestly might look into taking a couple away depending on how your vocal takes sound you dknt want your room to dead but at the same time you want it nice and clean. Ive definitely been in vocal booth were dues use to many panels every inch covered and the vocals sounded so dead.. had to do akot of after processing.. better to just get a great take from the start. But your panels are soldi dudes are hating for nk reason.. doesnt make em sound any better to be straight do you and keep at it Playa. Would love to hear what your working on Last edited by seatownslayer; 05-13-2022 at 09:29 AM..
