Precious metals pricing is definitely manipulated. Silver should be at like $42-50 an ounce nowadays bc of inflation and it was always advertised “as a hedge against inflation”.

Premiums are out of hand, too bad you didn’t held onto to now to unload it. I’m looking at Libertads selling at $390 for a 1/10oz of gold. Wish I had to stocked up back in the day when they were going for $20/oz (silver) and $210 for 1/10s (gold).

Let's say you invest in commodities, then the system crashes, and you can't pay property taxes to the government? This guy thinks you can maintain an oil field or farmland in a crash? I get what he's saying about gold and silver but gold is actually plentiful. It's just hard to find and process. The system makes it so you never actually own ANYTHING anyways.

I only speak for Bitcoin: I'm quite fine with placing my money in an a*set literally no one can take from me at gun point or worlds end. I'm quite fine letting millions of dollars go to absolutely no one while I'm here and when I'm not here. And all of this can be mathematically proven.

That's why you play their game short term and then flip whatever you make on gold, silver, land, etc. Only a fool wouldn't capitalize on the moment and only a fool would stay in too long.

I understand the sentiment and the idea expressed, but it's deeper than that and you can still find a way to prosper in whatever system is devised. For many, myself included, crypto is a means to an end, and not the only one. I don't buy and invest in crypto to accumulate more crypto. Ultimately, it's so I can accumulate fiat and real a*sets, ie real estate. Every system ever devised is corrupt and seems to favor the few in power standing on the backs of everyone else. Yes we are being manipulated constantly, there is still however money to be made!
