How do you make the contracts work? Plus the Kings know how much Hield is worth to the Lakers.

I got Monk/Westbrook for Hield/Barnes to work but no way the Kings give up Barnes and Hield(who they have for 3 years) to take on Westbrook who will be gone after next season.

Nunn, THT, future first. I'd be interested in what the holdup was with the Sixers deal though. I wonder who the Kings weren't willing to give up for Simmons.

Didn't even know this was a thing but Lakers always been high on getting Buddy. Where there's a will there's a way. Honestly as a Lakers fan I don't know if he solves anything but he's another option.

![]() What do you expect Hield to do that Monk hasn't been doing?

Philly was obviously using Sacramento to drive up the asking price ![]() Last edited by ototo7; 01-28-2022 at 01:05 PM..

He's been good at getting to the basket. Just not great at putting it in.

The Lakers do not need Buddy Hield, he will not fix the problem. Gilbert Arenas is a very smart dude but him pining that scoring is the issue is only part of the problem "They average 104 points a game, that's the problem" - He's halfway right, the other half is: The Lakers have no Middle, none. Look at the Box Scores of every Laker Loss - Outrebounded in every last one, can't keep any opposing Bigs out of the paint in damn near every loss The Defensive Miscues can be course corrected if they had an authority in the paint, there's never been a Laker Championship Team without a strong paint presence, this team lacks that AD doesn't want to play Center like that, the Lakers need to snatch Moses Brown off the Mavericks - A younger JaVale type who can hustle and do the dirty work for LeBron & AD Had Trez still been in LA ironically he'd solve a lot of the issues they have now, but that is merely my opinion
