3D TV's and virtual reality will always be fads in our lifetime. Nobody (as people as a whole) gives a fu*k about the metaverse or even know what it is, Mark Zuckerberg keeps pushing that bullsh*t to paid schills to get people to buy it.

The metaverse is not just FB. It's every tech company you know that will be in web 3.0. Why do you think MSFT just spent 75 billion - for Metaverse IP 10yrs from now when you're INSIDE the games.

People are gullible and easy to be hooked. Hell they already dopefiends with social media, the metaverse will be that new hit of dope with fentanyl that keeps them alive. Once I saw the train full of people glued to their phones like zombies I knew it was a wrap and they'll get hooked to anything if they can put enough influence and they follow the herd

They are forcing it on us. When facebook got popular MySpace was still better. You could put games on your page, music etc. Fb was a blank page. sh*t was trash. Still took over. They been pushing this sh*t since Johnny mnemonic

It depends how advanced it gets to me what's difference between metaverse and Fortnite, Warzone, where folks are spending hard earned cash and spending hours and hours playing


Cause it's a virtual world, we got the SiMS,
Like it's gonna be a massive social media platform (whoever comes out with the coolest version) so people will use it, but gamers been experiencing it so I'm not sure what the massive hypee is about


However, if in 50 years down the line we can plug in and experience it like we're living it (matrix but with anything goes) then yeah that would be legit

All this metaverse bullsh*t is, is Roblox with a VR headset.

Until VR can be created where users don't have to strap a huge clunky headset to they head and the experience is so realistic that it mirrors life itself, VR will never be mainstream.

Zuckerberg just trying to make his return on buying Oculus for 2 billion. Oculus is a flop just like all of the VR contraptions before it.
