I was there in the 90s. Nobody considered them rappers. They get grouped in that rap rock/nu metal genre bc they were part of that kid rock and limp bizkit wave. Korn never tried to rap tho that I remember hearing. Only thing hip hoppish they had was the basslines really and they kinda dressed it
