Makes the case? That's the easiest case to make in history. Eli is so overrated it's hilarious. He was carried to two chips by his defense and he played for the Giants. Other than that the dude didn't even make the playoffs half the seasons he was in the league. Do you know that's impossible for a HOF QB to do?
Fun fact: Eli Manning 15+ seasons as Giants QB, 6 playoff appearances Joe Flacco 10 seasons as Ravens QB, 6 playoff appearances Last edited by Tikyle2; 01-27-2022 at 01:27 PM.. |

Ben has higher yards, completion %, touchdowns, yards per attempt, QB rating is higher by like 10 points, higher TD % and lower int % and lower total interceptions. Eli Manning's TD:Int ratio is no where near 2.
So basically Ben threw for more touchdowns and yards at a higher yards per attempt while throwing for less interceptions (both absolute and percentage wise).... What is there to "make the case for"? ![]() Eli Manning was a middling QB his entire career as evidenced by his .500 record. Two Superbowl runs and the family name is the only reason he's even talked about this sh*t is ridiculous. ![]() Ben belongs in the hall of fame. Eli does not. There shouldn't be comparisons between the two. ![]() Last edited by Pythagoras; 01-27-2022 at 04:04 PM.. |

Eli had a 117-117 record and threw for 57,023 yards with 366 touchdowns and 244 interceptions. ... By comparison, Roethlisberger has a 144-71-1 record through 16 seasons, passing for 56,545 yards with 363 touchdown passes and 191 interceptions. His career 94.0 passer rating is about 10 points higher than Manning's.
Are we really comparing these 2 |
