Ben was a better QB than Eli but Eli had a better career. Taking down the 18-0 Patriots is too legendary.

Yup.

Beat them twice too, definitely got a better career than Ben.

Makes the case? That's the easiest case to make in history. Eli is so overrated it's hilarious. He was carried to two chips by his defense and he played for the Giants. Other than that the dude didn't even make the playoffs half the seasons he was in the league. Do you know that's impossible for a HOF QB to do?

Fun fact: Eli Manning 15+ seasons as Giants QB, 6 playoff appearances
Joe Flacco 10 seasons as Ravens QB, 6 playoff appearances

I'll say Ben had the better career. I believe him teams were better.

Not discrediting Eli or anything and those two SBs.

Eli was a turnover machine.

Career for career...Ben had better teams around him than Eli pretty consistently but couldn't match the success when it counted most

If Ben and it's not even close. Both have two super bowl wins and similar TD and yards per season. Ben has a way better win-loss record. Neither had an incredible individual season but what really separates them is the turnovers.

White privilege has been good to both of them. Eli was trash in his prime. Ben was trash only in the very beginning when he was an active rapist. Ben had a better career, is a better player, and one day will have a documentary on lifetime.

Ben has higher yards, completion %, touchdowns, yards per attempt, QB rating is higher by like 10 points, higher TD % and lower int % and lower total interceptions. Eli Manning's TD:Int ratio is no where near 2.

So basically Ben threw for more touchdowns and yards at a higher yards per attempt while throwing for less interceptions (both absolute and percentage wise)....

What is there to "make the case for"?

Eli Manning was a middling QB his entire career as evidenced by his .500 record. Two Superbowl runs and the family name is the only reason he's even talked about this sh*t is ridiculous.

Ben belongs in the hall of fame. Eli does not. There shouldn't be comparisons between the two.

So was Bret Favre. Eli took chances, second half of his career he had NO offensive line…kinda how we still don’t have one

Eli saved us from non-stop Brady chatter. Imagine if he won both of those games, especially the 17-0 year, it would be more insufferable than it already is.

Eli had a 117-117 record and threw for 57,023 yards with 366 touchdowns and 244 interceptions. ... By comparison, Roethlisberger has a 144-71-1 record through 16 seasons, passing for 56,545 yards with 363 touchdown passes and 191 interceptions. His career 94.0 passer rating is about 10 points higher than Manning's.

Are we really comparing these 2

If you look at how both played in the Superbowls its not even close. Everything else is background noise. Superbowls are where QBs distance themselves from each other.

Eli's a Manning and has 2 SB rings. There no chance he wont' get in. But to compare him to Ben is goofy at best. People act like Ben didn't compete against Prime Peyton & Prime GOAT most of his career. Even got Peyton on the road in the playoffs during the 1st SB run. AND played in the division w/the Ravens when they were a SB contender regularly. Against Prime Ed Reed and Prime Ray Lewis. Ben earned everything in his career. Gotta respect it.

I see it went over your head. Flacco is trash and no one is talking about him being in the Hall and he basically did better than Eli did in a shorter career.
