I've been going to gyms for years. I've only seen gym employees at the check-in desk try to handle situations, but not a full-time security guard.

I guess what I meant was, If crazy stuff happens so often at a gym the management thought they needed a full-time security guard.

Two incidents I've seen in like 30+ years at two different gyms.
One guy got kicked out for moving a slant bench to roughly. He complained he wasn't that rough, but left.
Another guy started yelling something about how he hated f*g**ts in the gym really loudly. Nothing happened. No staff even came by. The dude doing the yelling was a regular gym rat. I saw him there most of the time I went there to work out.
