There’s no doubt that A Ma Maniere was one of the best collaborators of 2021, offering luxurious takes on both the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 1. And later this year, James Whitner and the beloved boutique may recreate magic as they turn their attention over to the Air Jordan 2. Brought back by the late, revered Virgil Abloh, MJ’s second signature is finally seeing the spotlight it deserves. Here, A Ma Maniere applies their taste for high-end, upgrading the construction with interesting materials. The “Sail” suede, for instance, is subtly cracked upon closer glance, subverting what was used for the label’s prior collaboration. Then, along the midsole, a print simulates snakeskin, with each scale sized up much larger than the mock-up indicates. Elsewhere, the hang tag and heel are finished in a deep burgundy, backdropping the black and white branding raised over top.

Honestly think it’s because the leather is black because I seen a couple people with those and the black and blue 2s without any creases at all.

2's are really one of the best silhouettes of all the Jordans for casual wear. But you HAVE to get the color and materials right. I would have to see these in person first. Which won't happen. But they not as clean as they could be. Color scheme is ok, minus that goldish midsole accent. And that high nap suede looks kinda cheap.

I never liked 2s. Them mfs always reminded me of a boot lol. You can tell they're very comfortable though.

All Jordan’s are, they need to update them somehow to include the lightness of todays shoes. Last pair I got was some 5’s wore them once and they felt like bricks on my feet.
