Its basically (4), 7-player teams, consisting of (12) rooks, (12) 2nd year players, and (4) G-League Ignite(?) Players... Total of 28 players, so the 4 G-Leaguer's are spread out on each of the 4 teams, respectively...

Then it's a draft for the (12) rooks and (12) 2nd year players... which will result in a tourney: Team 1 vs 2, Team 3 vs 4...

1st rd target score is 50...
championship, game 25... which equates and tributes the 75yr anniversary...


edit: I think its a pretty dope, innovative idea personally... Its just the inclusion of G-Leaguers into the Rooks vs Sophmore game, extended into a 2 game "playoff" format... Nothing wrong with giving up a bit of the spotlight for the upcoming faces of the league.

15 years ago Lebron coulda won off hype alone but he punked out and after he did everybody followed suit.

J Rich from my Hometown, I seen him do sh*t at the Rec that woulda won the NBA dunk contest when he was in High School…straight fearless I knew he wasn’t running whenever he got his chance. Now I Pick on Bron but my point stands….he was scared to fail and the generation that followed him went the same route so we never really got the best dunkers going at it that’s why ASG weekend took a hit. That’s why they have to keep changing the format up, they not competing no more it really is entertainment now
