Getting conflicting answers from my xbox guys

Some say oh naw this not the last console and some say oh consoles are going away ms getting a head start.

Which one is it?

Seems like limited hardware and more software as service plays to M$ strengths.

Why waste time making consoles when we know m$ has the infrustructure for cloud gaming?

To appease a small group of gamers that prefer an xbox over ps or switch?

So based what he's saying I'm right... Microsoft dont gaf about the hardware they want people on Gamepass... That way they cut EVERYONE off and keep all the money to themselves... I listened to a Podcast where a Playstation Rep was speaking after the Activision deal... He said in that podcast he had no idea about the deal but since that day he had people from Retailers calling him asking whats gonna happen to them... Even Gamestop people called him... Microsoft is trying to cut all of them off
