The first one was cool and all with Uncle Frank. I see where Resident Evil got the Nemesis design from with the Chatterer Cenobite. Pinhead had a great introduction.



Part 2 started off ok but they could've done A LOT more. Dr Channard k*lled Pinhead and the Cenobites way too easy. That should've been a good f*ght. They could've done more.



Part 3 was horrible. I dont know wtf they were thinking. story was trash and they had a Cenobite that shoots CDs out of his head and a Cenobite with a Camera for an eye.

Yeah first was best in my opinion. Like most horror movies the concepts are decent but then the execution falls short. They did a decent one not too long ago that was on netflix from like 2017 or something. One of the better ones

Hellraiser in Space (Hellraiser IV - Bloodlines) is awesome!

Overrated series though..as most of us knowledgeable Horror heads have said multiple times before.

Part 5 (aka Detective Story) Inferno is also a fun watch!

no, the first 2 are as good as they're going to get

but somehow, all those sequels have found an audience and a home with some people cuz they don't keep making movies like that unless they're seeing a return

they can be entertaining on a stoner/drunk level, but that's it

but skip all that and wait for the Hulu reboot coming this year, it's supposed to be a faithful adaptation of the original book and the story was developed by David Goyer who worked on Blade, Nolan's Batman and Jumper

Event Horizon was a great movie imo. I loved Sleepaway Camp, number one has a weird a*s ending that will give you the creeps.

But the 80s had some good horror flicks and the 70s, check Phantasm.

The one with Henry Cavill, was pretty good imo

Best one I’ve seen as being a adult is like 5 or 6 had some weird name but the torture scenes were fu*king disgusting

All those mid-late 80's horror films are bad. Some do stand the test of time and hold-up. Hellraiser one and two are decent.

Oh it most definitely is, you had to be there during that time.

Those movies aged badly compared to other scary joints, IMO. I was never a big fan of the series anyway.
