Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and a few others could buy Sony as a whole (Playstation, movies, insurance, electronics) and not miss a beat if it wasn't for Japanese laws protecting them

Gaming is a hobby to these tech companies, Playstation is keeping the lights on at Sony
