The cold to me usually means that grimy mid 90s NY hip hop. I usually go to the classics, The Diary, RD, 36 Chambers, Purple Tape, RTD, The Infamous, etc.

When spring comes around the Jazzy stuff hits a little more for me, Tribe, De La, etc. and I also usually see myself getting into more funk - Sly/Parliament, etc.
