I swear all this came to my mind as I read that this morning... dude is a great in ring talent but not for nothing but he bland as fu*k on the mic something about his whole demeanor is just goofy

This dude is annoying. Was excited to see him with AEW due to his talent and being that he’s from PG. Thought him and Khan were cool after that Big Swole ish but o well. A lot of people pointed out how AEW ‘swapped’ Lio out for Jay Lethal so I guess this explains why he’s been MIA. Would love to see him re-sign but I just don’t know

Jonathan Gresham is an undersized Black wrestler like him and they gave him their main belt.

Also the moment after Shane Taylor vs Kenny King was big with him.

I think Lio's current look hurts him. He just looks awkward in that body suit with the dreads. His image is odd and he looks small. Oddly enough, he looked more like a wrestler and looked like someone with potential in ROH. He needs an image makeover if he wants to be taken serious as a pro.

I expect Private Party, Sonny Kiss, Joey Janela, Marko Stunt, Hybrid2, and Lio to have their contracts run out. AEW needs some room and all of those names are dead weight.

Between Dante Martin and Jay Lethal you're left with Lio being the odd man out. Dante has the higher ceiling and Jay is the bigger name. AEW has too much talent at the moment and the excess fat is about to be trimmed.

Marko Stunt, Joey Janela and Brian Cage are also free agents on the same day.

- Cage is obviously not coming back
- Janela will probably get the Peter Avalon treatment and get a pay per appearance deal
- Stunt could get that PPA deal as well
- Abadon will get let go because her character doesn't fit what AEW does anymore (She won strictly because she will have an opportunity to go to either WWE or IMPACT (more than likely the latter))
- Sonny Kiss will probably get a PPA contract
- Diamante same thing IF TK decides not to do a full LAX reunion
- Ford and Sabian will probably end up going to NXT

I guess, dudes whole look and persona is basura in my opinion, and I really want him to blow. I remember seeing him live at PWG years ago. He an Keith Lee put on an amazing match. His talent in the ring is undeniable

We'll start to see some wrestlers sour on AEW. It's inevitable, it happens in every company. They honestly need to let some folks go, have too big a roster for the time they have. Just causes their value to go down when you don't see them forever.

Agree with most except Ford and Sabian staying.. Ford heavily featured. Sabian not so much. he needs to figure out his character more
