Movie sucked so bad and was just pointless in the end. 1,2, and three had a purpose as why it is happening. 4 was a dumb a*s excuse of why, but at least was a better motive than this one. All of that bs of a movie for the end reason to be that. Wish Stu would’ve came back or at least the niece and nephew of randy would’ve been better. They dropped the ball. Only thing I can think of is if the niece and nephew of randy come on the new ones. Idk 12 years for that bs is uncalled for.

I posted about this in the other thread, but I agree that the movie was really poor. It's getting pretty rave reviews from critics and audiences, and I don't know why, except for the obvious nostalgia.

The movie looks cheap, is written and acted like a bad soap opera, and all the non-legacy characters / villains are forgettable.

"Scream 4" was really silly and almost dipped too far into the spoof territory, but it also had a go-for-broke, so-insane-it-almost-works vibe going. This new entry was just really bland, which is surprising, since the filmmakers' last film was the wickedly cool "Ready Or Not."

Rewatched it today and I liked it more than the first time. Was pretty fun, thought it was cool they started questioning each other early on who was the k*ller and kept it going through the movie. Obvious issues with the new characters not being that interesting but meh still had a good time.
