Yes indeed ,

I remember when him n Jay weren't on terms . Jaz-O never slanderred or whent over board . And truth be told the 'Friends Betrayed' was heart felt , and almost a subliminal compliment .

I think this is why it was easy enough for them to build bridges . Plus Jay only ever really dropped the 1 line on Blueprint 2 intro & on Lost One . This shows the integrity they held for each other if you read between the lines . Sure Jaz-O had a few tracks going at Jay , but nothing on a disrespect level

Jaz-O only ever spoke about when he was done wrong. Jay sent the whole rocafella at him even if he only mentioned him in a couple songs.

Most definitely. I actually was gonna point something similar out but didn't have time to type at work. I think that reserved space of never going too far is what allowed that to happen. Dame on the other hand has went too far and we can see the different result. I say that even though I think Jay eventually forgives him to make "his cipher complete" being that he is on that type of time

Props, I never knew he worked with Ras Kass.

I know the haters are gonna come in here and try to clown homie but this dude is really a legend in the game and really talented on the mic.

A Busta Rhymes before Busta Rhymes type rapper.

I wonder why he never did and released a song with 'Daddy Kane though.

Yeah this thread is kinda giving me a new respect for The Originator.

Not that I ever though bad of him but Jay along with the internet did try to make him look like a flunkie amid those two's fallout.

That's a fact
but real hip-hop heads knew where jay z got his early influence from and gave jazo his respects on the mic

Absolutely,

It's definitely Dame who has the issue looking in . And I understand why . Business and friends can soon turn into Bart & Millhouse with the comic episode
