It’s straight crybaby sh*t. Exclusive deals have always been around. Nobody cares cause at one point every console maker had their fair share of exclusives. That’s the way the game has always gone.

The f*ghting game genre got buried on Xbox because Xbox didn’t do sh*t with k*ller Instinct. The JRPG market has sucked on Xbox since they left Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey dormant. None of that is Sony’s fault.

Microsoft has been playing this game since they entered gaming. They tried to buy Nintendo off rip. They started to cry Wolf when Sony started pumping out exclusives left and right for PS4 and other studios didn’t care to work with them. I’m glad it’s finally looking like they tryna do something, but this whole trying to paint Sony as a villian thing is bullsh*t and needs to stop. Microsoft with their money could have and should have been doing what Sony was doing, but no other devs believed in them to wanna play ball with them. That’s solely on them, not Sony, not Nintendo

sh*t happens, time to move on at this point with what's already occurred. Plenty of games out there if you don't wanna play whatever might be exclusive to Xbox.

I don't buy into the "anyone is scared' of anyone narrative lol, its just business. Its time to compete, get in the ring and slug it out

console wars are real life. Sony was f*ghting using guerilla tactics, buying out games here and there, and was winning the war; but Microsoft brought out a massive army buying up those studios. It will be more level but the effects might not be seen until around 5-10 years probably.

Lets all forget that the Xbox360 existed... Coz Xbox360 had way more 3rd party exclusives than Sony... Infact... Sony literally copied Microsoft's blueprint from the 360 that was the Gold Membership, Achievements, Pay to play online... Literally everything Xbox did with the Xbox360 Sony copied with the PS4 and just did it 1000 better... Mfs crying over Final Fantasy... Microsoft had exclusive DLC for GTA and Call of Duty, they had Left for Dead exclusively, they had Bioshock, Battlefield, The Elder Scrolls the fu*king list goes on... Sony literally almost went out of business... They went into the PS4 generation with nothing but hope... And you n*ggas wanna talk about timed exclusives over the past few years... Microsoft showed them how to play the game
