Claud Anderson had the same opinion that we were better during segregation because our money stayed within the community. Black business was necessary because we weren't allowed to patronage the white ones.

They wanted equality but when integration happened things got worse especially financially and education wise, they came into our communities and took out all the local mom and pop stores and restaurants and our dollar was spent more with them than us and people who owned businesses had to work for white ppl for less money and the history being taught in our schools were left in the hands of white people, why do you think during the 70s thru the 90s were the worst economically for most blacks and drop out rates were at an all time high
