He actually had the surgery the physical said he’d need.

So Boston is looking at it like they know he’s damaged goods right now so they’ll give him time to get healthy & see what he can give them next season.

They are extreme trash at developing players.

Tatum & Brown were locks to be this good, great athletes, Top 5 recruits throughout HS getting buckets as they please. Only question was going to be their consistency and rounding out the rest of their game handling the ball & playing defense. They’ve answered both questions.

People don’t even realize Marcus Smart today is an undercooked $500 steak. He was a great scorer in HS, AAU, thru college and put a program on his back as the lead dog. He used to get Wade comps. He was drafted with the expectation he’d become an All Star PG in the future. The thought people saw him as more than a role player sounds silly now because he’s become an inefficient utility guy with great defense. If Boston knew he’d become the good but highly flawed player he is today they wouldn’t have took him even Top 20. They failed him. He should’ve been way better and it’s too late to fix him.

I'm not a Nuggets fan but I find it hard to believe a team decimated with injuries at the forward spot was just refusing to play him. He has to be struggling in practice/on the court somewhere.

Im interested in seeing how this develops but im mostly uncertain tbh

Disappointed in the nuggets not developing bol bol..him and jomic would've been a sick duo...bol bol has game and is talented are perfect for a run and gun team. Him on GS or Phoenix would suit his style more than a halfcourt team
