You develop mobile horse racing games. The Xbox series S ain't holding back that sh*t at all ![:mjlmao:]()
Nah but for real tho. I can see what u mean by that from a devopement perspective and that might actually hold true, if there were true next gen games being developed but most of the games releasing in the next year or so are also on last gen. So if you wanna blame someone, blame last gen.

Lol, you remember me! I do have a horse racing game, but I'm also a Director in the gaming industry too for one of the big publishers.
This is how the Series S holds the gen back. When you make a game for PS5/Series X you're fine, BUT the game has to work on the Series S. You can't lock it out and you can't make it a stand-alone version because of how the online store works. So think of this right, when you go to PSN, you can see a PS4 and PS5 version. The MS store, since it's next-gen, when you download something, that version is for the Series S and X because both of those consoles are "next-gen" but in reality one if far more nextgen than the next.
So you have to make a game at the lowbar and you always have to make sure it works at that lowbar, and then change settings to work at the highbar... on the SAME disc. It's far more restricting than you think.
At the beginning of a new gen, you will be held back by last gen because most people still have those consoles and you need to make money. But, once we get past that, Series S will hold some things back to a point that I don't think I'd be that surprised if people won't make games on the X/S because of the S.
