I dont know where you live (cold-weather state vs non) or if you're married with kids or not but all of that needs to be taking into consideration as well.

I've traveled a similar distance for work and it was torture. I'd rather earn less and keep/save more than earn more and travel further.

No i did it for double and I still transferred somewhere else. Exact same commute traffic was crazy too. sh*t had me so mad I would work late just to avoid the rush hour sh*t. I would buy sour monkeys and just sit in traffic for 45-60 minutes getting lit.

Now I get to work in 11 minutes.

Edit. I spoke outta emotions. I live in Austin and San Marcos is exactly 25 miles from here. So yes I would but I need a weekly gas stipend on top of my salary and an inclement weather clause.

Is 25 miles the issue or the 20 dollars because 50 miles is nothin to me. If its better than your current situation then i say yeah.

How long would it take to go the 25 miles?

I had years where I was in 4 to 5 hours of traffic daily.

I took a low paying job ($15) because it was a 10 min walk, I could never commute for that long.

I did that sh*t a few years back, not 25 miles but it was still an hour or so drive, sh*t drove me insane

I get a litte more for my first jub but might go up 4 dollars but its a toxic environment.I found a new union job and if I get it benefits are gonna be worth more for me and if i decide to have kids they will get to go to school for free

25 miles is Lite

I think if the cost of living is low, like if the minimum wage is $8/hr, and it is all highway/freeway miles... I would take those two factors into consideration.

I guess it depends on what kind of driving the commute is. If it's mostly interstate then it's really not that bad but if it's mostly city traffic then that could be a bi*ch. I mean it also depends on if you like the job or like it enough to do the drive

25 miles ain’t sh*t. How long will the 25 minutes take? I’m a*suming it can’t take any longer that an hour with sh*t traffic, 30 minutes or less with no traffic. At $20 an hour this is very worth it. If the commute extends an hour or creeps up into the 40 miles or so each way then I’d reconsider but not at 25 miles

For me Hell no.I have actually never driven to anywhere more than 15 miles before.

However only you know ya life and if its worth it.

25 miles in winter is brutal here and if it snows its a wrap.Not worth risking my life lol
