Anyways, fresh Prince of Bel-Air was a comedy that resonated with you, that's just looks like a drama. For the sake of being a drama, I have no idea why they call it fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Anywho, it just seems like a boring show in my opinion. As for the trailer.

But cash for cast. These guys don't hold a candle to the OG cast in terms of charisma shown

Exactly. You can’t recreate Will’s Fresh Prince persona or it’ll come across as forced or corny.

have the orginal cast come together. have them like a family reuinon bbq and have jaylen smith and willow smith and some of the youngest soical media comdies and martin and martin cast in it.

We all know Fresh Prince is a classic. And a lot of people say it shouldn't be touched.


But this sh*t might actually be decent, even with the dramatic tone instead of comedy. I learned a long a*s time ago to not judge films before they air lol.

There’s tons of really wealthy black families in bel air now, but in the 90’s we just didn’t know how they lived…

Now with social media damn near everyone is millionaire with mansions to boot.

Doesn't look terrible but I'm not watching this sh*t. Did they make Carlton gay? I guess reimagining comedies as dramas is a thing now. Imagine they did this for Seinfeld

This seems like it’ll be a huge miss. Looks like they purposely got actors that look nothing like the original actors. Could have at least gotten a really s*xy Hilary actress

1. Looks better than I thought it would, based on me not feeling the whole thing once they said they were recasting for the real show and not use ppl from the OG trailer.
2. I think they "missed" with who they picked for Carlton, but I dont want to judge my Naija brother too fast.
3. I still think the actors who played Will and Jazz in the original "short film"/trailer that got all this started, would have been a better fit. It looks like maybe they wanted to go younger though based on the casting.

It looks good enough that I definitely want to check it out though.

Not gonna lie, I wish it was a comedy again but this actually looks good. I think this will do real good, as long as the acting is on point.
