50 too real for the industry....

Cats are still mad because:

He bullied their favorite rappers years back

He trolls all the time on social media(50 been trolling since 1999 when he put out "How To Rob")

He isn't all buddy buddy with everyone

The streets can't deny that he put out classic material years ago back when the PS2 was still in it's prime.

To this day 50’s run is the most dominant I’ve ever seen for rapper. 50 might have been the first true coast to coast rap superstar.

One thing that always gets overlooked though is he has had the right machine behind him. That Em and Jimmy co-sign meant GRODT was going to be on every damn shelf.

What people forget is that in the pre-streaming era when the music was a physical product, labels would only order enough inventory they thought would sell and retailers would do the same. The stars aligned for 50 because with Em locking in that Midwest (white) Audience , it was a no-brainer that he was gonna blow.

50 stayed strapped and sold a few bundles on the ave. A lot of dudes in Rap did that in the 90's. What makes him any different? Because he got shot 9 times and paints that image better? Gtfoh.

50 criticizing Ja for being Pop is the biggest oxymoron in Rap. Same guy who made Candyshop. Oh and did 50 ever do anything to Black Child for cutting him up?

That's a good comparison. Similar in a lot of ways. 50 has that from the streets the boardroom story people admire. He made getting shot cool among today's artist. Prior, pac did that. 50 and the vitamin deal was monumental. He's an all around businessman, that did music at one point. Nelly has always been a musician turned whatever.

You have a bigger issue with a street artist making pop
music or a pop artist making street music?

Exactly
