That was basketball. When they finally made the finals in 94. I almost lost it. Got damn Hakeem, took away my dream.

Best era of Basketball.

Certain stars today wouldn't last in this era.

I hate this argument..as if the players wouldn't adapt smh...it's like saying those same players wouldn't make it in today's era because they'd get fouled/teched out..ya dumb if you think they wouldn't adjust to the style of play of the era they r in

I became a fan as a 7 year old kid watching the Knicks in the 94 playoffs. What a time it was to be a Knicks fan, wish i couldve been around from the moment we got Oakley. Thats when it was started, the Oak man is a top 5 physical dirty player of all time. Not even a rational human being to this day but his mentality was great for that era

They should've just renamed it,

Riley's Rules.

Not giving Pat Riley full control of the Knicks will go down as one of, if not the worst decision, Knicks ownership ever made.

They are protected by refs and by league today as you can see the flagrant fouls today were common fouls back then. The game today is watered down no one plays defense.

The 20ppg guys who had a jumper in the 90s or early 2000s would eat in today's era. Many players in today's era wouldn't be allowed to shoot 3s in the 90s and 2000s their job would be to bang in the post. Camping out shooting 3s in the 90s as a big man was limited to an exclusive list.

Do you think a guy like A.D would survive in the 90s? What about James Harden?

That list is bullsh*t they have Dame on there and he doesn't deserve it. It was made to cause controversy.

Charles Oakley would make AD fake injuries if AD played in the 90s.

Dwight Howard's prime> Dame

Great time to be a NY sports fan period! The Rangers, Yankees and I even think the Giants were clicking too, NY could do no wrong in those mid '90s...
