Its the story of a high school girls soccer team that goes missing for 19 months from a plane crash.

They story jumps in time from what happened during the crash and the aftermath
some 20 years later.

It seems to be a bit of lord of the flies meets Alive and I know what you did last summer.

Not cheesy in the least and a pretty good cast.
Its a bit of everything a bit of horror, mystery and unintentional comedy
only at episode 2 but it looks to be a winner

I tried fell asleep on it

It’s decent. Unless they throw in some crazy a*s twists, which I expect. It’s pretty easy to see where it is going.

I like the weirdo curly haired blonde girl. I was sure it was gonna be the chick from orange is the new black or russian doll but even better it’s a crazy nympho christina ricci!

I notice a trend in movies and tv these kinda flashback movies to the 90s are very popular atm.

in the 90's it was the 60's and 70's
early 2000's the 80's

its common in storytelling to build the familiarity and nostalgia with your intended audience demographic.

I didnt realize that was Christina Ricci for a minute.

I like movies where you see the spiral of humanity
(Like Cape Fear, Lord of the Flies, f*ght Club, Alive, Kalifornia)
The catalyst and journey intrigues me.

I think the opening scene may be a clue if you take note as to what they are wearing.
could be misdirection because they were very keen in showing you features of their clothes

In the opening scene we see who we now know as Shauna being chased by a girl in a mask who I believe is Jackie, because Shauna has her necklace back.
Shauna and Jackie were close and I think this is the only reason why Shauna survives.

Not a bad show. Sad to see how the redhead girl from the Santa Clarita diet turned out but maybe she got fat for the role to promote body positivity? Ricci is playing her character rally well and is still fine in a crazy psychotic way. The black haired junkie chick definitely didn't age gracefully. The dude Flex is annoying as fu*k and it sucks that we'll definitely be seeing him the whole season. Coach about to get r*ped. Aaaaaand unless that younger dude is gay, he's definitely gonna bag one of these bi*ches eventually.

They definitively did something to Jackie because Van, the girl left for dead on the plane, and Taissa, the black woman running for public office, were secretly dating at the time so there is an issue there, in fact everyone does something to her. Her boyfriend Jeff cheats on her who later marries Shauna but teen Jackie doesnt know that he cheated with her, which will be an issue later I think.

My coworker suggested. Just hearing about the plot had me a bit intrigued. Usually we are on totally different vibes, so I’m shocked to see this on bx lol
