nobody can quote that kendrick verse. if it didn't have the name drops it wouldn't be memorable at all.

not a fair question. How to rob wouldve crashed social media the way the control verse did. So I'd say control because of the amount of responses to it by other rappers

Edit: Matter fact I'm switching to how to rob cus we got a few classic verses due to that track. When pun told 50 he'd whip his a*s over a beat and I'm about a dollar what the fu*k is 50 cent to name a few

How To Rob was nothing but name drops. That was 50's clout chase to fame.

Control Verse though.

It had NY rappers, media personalities, and fans in an uproar. It spawned multiple freestyles and disses. It soured Kendrick and Drake's relationship. It had Puffy and J. Cole get into an altercation. Big Sean had to take it off of the original tracklist from his Hall Of Fame album. It had people hungry for what Kendrick would do next. That's crazy impact.

i feel like people know how to rob though. if you put the vast majority of kendrick fans on the spot they couldn't recite that verse to save their lives.

his verse on nosetalgia was way harder from that same summer.

I would hope his fans would know how to recite the lyrics seeing as they're his fans after all...lol.

I actually think Kendrick is kind of lackluster when it comes to the feature department but that's honestly one of his best in my opinion.

Idk why all the fuss about kend*ck verse it was not a classic , on the other hand how to rob got the biggest rappers hot about some rapper who hasn’t established his name yet he got all them mfks attention

50 had legends dissing back a then relatively unknown rapper.

"I rob pun without a gun snatch his piece and run /this n*gga weight 400 pounds how he gon catch me son?"

"What jigga just sold like 4 million? Thats something to live for/ He dont want me putting 4 through that Bentley coupe door"

"Id rob odb but that'd probably be a waste of time Probably have to clap him, run and toss the nine"
