This album got overly hated on when it came out

But it was actually fire

This album is better to me than anything released in the last 10 years expectations were just high for Nas and Dre

There were lots of issues a*sociated with that album. Cormega was the original 4th member of The Firm, so Nature was a late replacement. The best songs on the project didn't make the final album. Nas, AZ, Foxy, and Nature were the named members, but the project had Foxy's brother rapping, N.O.R.E., Half-a-Mil, and other folks that just seemed out of place at the time.

When the album came out, critics said it was directionless...because it was. But it was still one of the dopest albums that came out during my college years, and I play it to this day.

I stood outside of Blockbuster Music at midnight when the CD was released. Y'all young folks don't know about the midnight Monday/Tuesday morning releases for the new music. I wanted to be the first one playing that new heat in the car from Franklin Street, through Stadium Drive, and back to Hinton James.

Definitely way better than most people say it is. It should have had more songs with the whole group though. It's a dope album, but I think it really could have been better. Imagine if Mega was on it?

"Affirmative Action" laid the blueprint that the entire album should've followed. But there was a lot of weak production, lame songs, terrible skits, and too many songs hijacked by weed carriers.

Just a big disappointment. sh*t flopped for a reason.
