The hits that came out during that decade was amazing, I mean post them if you remember.

But I was in my 30s during that period and it was a glorious time going to the club, even better the decade before in my opinion.

The 2010-2019 era produced the worst rap music of any of the decades. Even the first 10 years of hip hop had more variety.

Try to make a list of the 10 best party sh*t you're referring to in that 2010-2019 decade. They most likely have the same beat or the rappers sound alike. sh*t is pitiful

As a dj I disagree...

Every era has timeless music, but the 90s >>>

New jack swing
Shinny suit
New Orleans take over
death row...

IMO 1996 -2006 was a better 10 year period of Club music and it was more diverse sounding music and music you can actually dance to and the actual songs were better

Hiphop is the only genre where fans dont understand how trends and sound selection works with music

n*ggas be dumb as hell

Ask em who their favorite artists are and we'll really see how invalid their opinion is

That Era was nothing compared to the Crunk era
(1999 to 2005)....

In that Era when certain songs were played, u were gonna get your head bust wide open.

Looking back on it, Lil Jon's music aged well. The sound was ahead of it's time and evolved into today's music. That nikka was instilling some demonic vibes in those songs.

Disagree, but I never really went to top 40 style clubs anyway unless it was for an event. Mainstream wise maybe a handful of artists I really listened to in the 2010’s era (Big Krit,
Kirko Bangs, some Nipsey, some Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick, and Cole). Other artists I jived with (Gibbs, Spitta, Kxng Crooked, Westside Gunn, Hopsin) were not really mainstream at all. If anything the 2010s is where I started listening more to other genres like house, Chicago footwork, Dominican Reggaeton, dancehall, Baltimore and Philly club music, etc.
