These young boys that clown Wilt will be talking about Kobe in 40 years and the young dudes in the future will clown them because there's no footage of Kobe in 5.12e+65K digital footage.

Back on the 90s early 2000's direct Tv had this channel called NBA classics it might have been an ESPN channel anyway the channel one weekend. Had wilt games playing all weekend I watched a few of them and he clearly was two levels above the competition, if basketball was the individual sport he would be the greatest ever and it wouldn't be close

5.12e+65= 20,0000,000 to th 9th power.

Its a hypothetical version of high definition in 40 years.

The argument is that young people, who don't have a firm grasp on history because they ain't been around long enough, will clown Kobe in the future like how they do Wilt now because they played in a different era with lesser talent and technology.

I'm of the firm belief that every generation has its outliers that could play in any era. Wilt, Mike, Kobe, LeBron, Elgin Baylor, KD, etc. Some players are so skilled and so athletically gifted that outside of bioengineering future players there are no major differences in their abilities because they are the peak of human performance regardless of era.

Yes what I meant was we have a lot of footage of Kobe so why wouldn’t people 50 years from now know ?

Wilt came up in a bad era tbh

Bron and MJ both have very unique physical gifts but Wilt is the greatest athlete to ever play in the league which is nuts if you think about it

That jumper looking like KD out to about 15 feet absolutely unguardable

Kobe isn't a top 5 or 10 player.

Michael Jordan put up better stats than Wilt Chamberlain in the playoffs.

Jordan holds numerous records that will never be duplicated again.

MJ - 33.6 PPG on 48% shooting in 35 Final games, 6 Final appearances resulting in 6 rings, 6 Final MVPs

Kobe - 25.3 PPG on 41% shooting in 37 Final games, 7 Final appearances resulting in 5 rings, 2 Final MVPs

Michael Jordan revolutionized the game and was the first "small" player to be as dominant as he was. He changed the paradigm where before you needed a big man/center to run the offense through.

2 three peats
- 8 years without 3 straight losses
- 10 scoring titles
- 6 rings with 5 of the top 8 lowest scoring supporting cast
- 35 PPG with DPOY
- 7-0 vs 60 win teams in the 90s
- 5 series of 40+ PPG

You're sick in your head if you think Kobe Bryant was better than Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Bill Russell or Tim Duncan.

I don't even like LeBron but he was better than Kobe.

Looking at the five title teams Kobe played on, the reality is he was never the best player on any of those teams. Shaq led the Lakers in WS for the 2000, 2001, and 2002 seasons, respectively, and Pau Gasol led the Lakers in WS for the 2009 and 2010 seasons.

2000: Shaq 18.6 WS, Kobe 10.6 WS
2001: Shaq 14.9 WS, Kobe 11.3 WS
2002: Shaq 13.2 WS, Kobe 12.7 WS
2009: Gasol 13.9 WS, Kobe 12.7 WS
2010: Gasol 11.0 WS, Kobe 9.4 WS

Kobe wasn't the most efficient Laker; he didn't contribute the most Win Shares per game as a Laker; he didn't lead any Lakers team to a title based on Win Shares. All he did was play the most games as a Laker.

Where's the lie?
