1. damn i did not know the rock was a rap fan.

2. i did not know the rock was a undergroudn rap fan.

3. i did not know the rock even knew who tech 9ine was.

4. I did not know the rock liked rap. I thought republicans did not like rap that much.

5. i guess the rock is not a sellout and **** like people claim he is. and into touch with his culture and black side.

6. i did not know the rock knew how to rap. I was expecting him to be into country, rock, easy listening 60s,70s music. and classic rock.

9. dude rap better than i ever could. nad i stuttering but i am not that good at rapping. even tho i use to be good back in 2003 to 2014.

10. i do not see how n*ggas is hating on him. for a football player, wreslter, and actor and bodybuilder. dude is mega awsome.

I'm more impressed with TechN9ne being big enough now to where the rock fu*ks with him. He's came a long way, mostly independently

crazy seeing n*ggas hating on this. yet they could not do 10% of the what the rock could do. if he is this good on his first song. i image how good he would be. if he actually made a whole album.

what crazty is that is how different rapping vs acting is.

he mastered the art of acting. and probably could do it in one take.

but took him a day to record and write one verse.

vs

i could do a verse in a couple of hours. or 1 hour. or 30 minutes.

vs

it would probably take me a day or 2. to get a acting role down pack.

me too. i remember visiting a site called wordofsouth and realraptalk and allshiphop.

of how tech 9nine worked ethic was so hard. that he was the hardest working music artist in thie business. and that he would be the hardest worker on tours and getting them done. and still be on his indepent hustle. and turn down a major label worth about 60 million.

and said

how in the hell does a n*gga turn down 60 million from a label. strange music must be worth alot indie.

i do not know. i probably would sold out.

The rock did a song with wyclef back in the day. Think it was called it doesn't matter. It was right around the bullet in his bubble goose era

the Rock's verse was terrible in almost every way

the cool thing about rap is that you can always tell the ones who treat it as a serious craft and you can always tell the tourists who're in it for a bag and an ego boost

Tge Rock is great at his craft, but he's still a regular dude off camera. Probably been a fan of Tech N9ne for a minute. I think Tech is bigger than many people realize. I even remember an interview with him and Elton John talking about how his sound changed over the course of certain albums and it seemed like Elton was a legit fan. Homie stayed underground and I believe still got the most top 10 rap albums of all time. Even if you not a fan, you gotta respect that grind.

I'm a Tech casual so I cant front, never seen a live show. Dude's creative as hell and got good energy on the mic so I'm gonna check some live stuff out when I get some downtime this weekend.
