Did you know that shrimps are the c*ckroaches of the ocean? Shrimp are commonly known as ′′ sea c*ckroaches ′′ for their type of onivorous feeding, meaning that it feeds on sea trash. Just like c*ckroaches that feed on earth's trash... think about that next time you eat shrimp 😅

"No. c*ckroaches are insects which are under Hexapoda, while shrimp are largely under Malacostraca. Their only relation is that it is now believed that insects are crustaceans, like malacostracans. Meaning they shared a very very distant common ancestor, diverging from each other around 440 million years ago. To put that into perspective, we humans are more closely related to Tyrannosaurus rex, than a c*ckroach is to shrimp."

Yeah. I've always heard that shrimp, lobster and crab are the roaches of the sea. They're all scavengers.

I'm not a big lobster/crab person but I'll fu*k up some shrimp and will continue to lol.

If you saw what was in water, you wouldn’t drink it

Crab and lobster are crustaceans, but don’t taste anything alike. Different quality meat…. Eating a shrimp is not comparable to eating a roach
