Only his delusional fans thought he would sell like the heavyweights. Most people stopped listening to Ye almost 10 years ago.

For all its flaws, "Donda" is a better album than pretty much everything on that list, so whatever.

Let's put it like this: none of those rappers, barring Drake perhaps, could sell out three football stadiums to come and watch a guy stand at the fifty yard line and listen to unfinished demos.

fu*k record sales (which mean next to nothing in the age of streaming, anyway). Kanye is different.

Again, he sold out three football stadiums for a listening session for unfinished demos.

And not everybody in those stadiums were "hipsters." Plus he has a billion dollar fashion empire.

Somebody is "rockin" with him like that.

Nope. The 'machine' and record companies that y'all seem to depend on to feed you hip hop is dead.

Hip hop itself is alive and as beautiful as ever for the ones that really care and know how to listen and think for themselves.

Jay, Wayne & Em still sell. You know the guys Kanye is always grouped with? He’s the only one from that Forever song that’s not selling like that no more.

My n*gga ye is beyond music. This is what jay told you youngins years ago in his music but you don’t understand.
Everyone falls off with age. But Kanye is a whole fu*king movement not a musician anymore. This dude influenced hip hop. Fashion. Marketing. Business. And has a whole generation listening to gospel. fu*k albums sales this dude has surpassed anyone from hiphop ever.

If Ye did numbers y’all n*ggas would be singing a different tune.

Cause y’all been swearing he still got the juice.

I don’t care about numbers and knew he hasn’t did crazy numbers in almost a decade. But his mans was hyping up the release battle similar to his versus 50 when fam is tainted now more than ever.

The stadium comment I’ve been saying years about artist that are legacy acts are more valuable than being hot in the present now but y’all n*ggas sleep on the Nellys, 50s and etc.

It’s crazy how this one n*gga make y’all see sh*t people been saying for a decade about hip hop as a whole.

Outside of CLB, all them albums on the list has had more than a month to sell records. How is this in any way an equal battle?
