Are you serious? He'd be the most explosive athlete in the NBA right. And with this space and pace, he's even more unstoppable than that season when he dropped 25 and 7.

He would be in the 10-15 range today

Miami exposed his bball IQ and tunnel vision
Then that lockout season he tried to be more of a floor general and his scoring dropped

These guys commenting in the video weren’t even old enough to witness it and if they were they were about 8.

He’d be top 10 for sure.

We getting old. He suppose to still be on Russell westbrooks level or better smh that was ten years ago though , he got hurt before his prime . This is why I respect guys with longevity like Chris Paul still the goat floor general 17 years later

I don't think so.

Arguably worst mvp of all time.

His game, to me, was no better than a prime Marbury or Steve Francis.

Really good player but is romanticized as a generational talent because of injuries.

That's a very subjective statement. I don't know if the NBA is better or not. I think the NBA today has more talent but what does better mean? Like I said today's space and pace would make Rose even deadlier. For example, De'Aaron Fox plays very similar to MVP Rose. He's 6'3, super quick, a blur in transition, explosive driving ability, can shoot the 3 but not a strong part of his game, prefers the midrange stepback jumper, and can drive and finish with either hand around the basket or finish with a dunk. Now, aesthetically obviously their game is very different. Rose was a ripped 200 pounds, Fox is rail think, Rose had a tighter handle and better footwork, Rose was just as fast if not faster end-to-end speed, a triple threat scorer, unlike Fox, and Rose was probably the most fluid athlete in terms of his layup package in a generation. So Rose has more "badges" or attributes than Fox who averaged 25 and 7 last year. Rose was too athletically transcendent to be stopped in any era.

You trippin. He's overrated bcuz of that MVP award, but he was clearly better than Marbury.

That's fair, I'm just using those guys as examples. Maybe a Baron Davis too. Those earlier combo guards. They were all athletic explosive 20ppg 7apg 5rpg guys.

I don't believe Rose was exponentially better than those guys. Sl

Then again, reading OP premise again, he's saying would that 2010 Rose be a top 15, today. Not still be, which is how I guess was taking it.

I think top 15 is possible. Not top 5 or a legit mvp candidate but top 15 I guess is possible.

Rose's MVP season has become extremely overrated. 25 and 8 on 44 percent shooting is good but not some all time great season. He basically won that MVP because the Bulls finished with the best record in the league.

Fans confuse exciting with great way too often.

He should be in.

But I donít think, havenít seen the Basketball HOF show much or any respect to guys who had great careers in the CBA the same way they do the EuroLeague.

I donít think they (HOF) view it as competitive basketball.

You got n*ggas like Jimmer who go over there & dominate, then come back to the states and can barely hang on a NBA training camp roster
