I remember this too, fools like Rush Limbaugh were all over him saying his company would fail, Fox News called him a socialist who's employee's would be on bread lines, etc. 6 years later, the company has tripled it's profits.

Looks like he knew what he was doing and proved you can pay your employees an acceptable wage and still turn a profit. Hell, he's been so successful the business is now a Harvard Business School case study.

How many employees did he raise salaries for? I mean it's a tech company... I'm sure a lot of them weren't paid below $70k as is.

Either way I commend this dude and the company. Shows how much respect he has for his employees.

Good hearted man right there. He a real one. I couldn't even do this smh. All those opposers admitted they wanted his business to fail. Thats fu*kboy sh*t.

Dude even took his own salary down and sold a home. You can tell a lot about a person's character by the things they do when they are in a position of power, real talk. You got CEOs that would lay off employees just so they could buy another home they don't even need.

A credit card processing company is not a tech company

Credit card processing companies were around before the tech bubble in 99-00’s

Thanks

If you had watched the video, they stated how much the average employee working there was making previously

I watched the clip they mentioned $35k? that's literally impossible. You're not paying software engineers that low... and to have enough employees to bring down your average to the point of $35k would be insane.

Lol you don't know what you're talking about but it's cool.
People are going to be very selective on what they want to hear and believe in a case like this.

They will ignore that this company was months away from possibly closing its doors during the pandemic in 2020. They seen a huge drop in revenue when credit payment processors were seeing record growth. They will ignore that most employees had to take a 60% cut in pay in hopes that it would help the company survive. Seems like that move worked out for both the company and employees... good for them

Most importantly...they won't admit that they wouldn't put in all this work and take on all this liability to be getting paid the same as their employees when they could be making significantly more.

Less money for the owner and investors

Most owners and investors want ALL their money

It's not right, its not wrong, it just is how capitalism works

Make as much money as you can

Im not against ir or for it, i believe any business owner should run their business as they see fit
