Movieís Jordan Peele should remake

I notice that a lot of Jordan Peele movies there are horror/thriller elements mixed with social commentary. Candyman touched on gentrification and racism, Us was about the poor uprising, and a Get Out was about liberals and cultural appropriation. A few movies that combine those elements can be remade with the modern Jordan Peele twist to them are:

The Serpent and The Rainbow: this 1988 Wes Craven movie touches on an American doctor going to Haiti to retrieve medicine used in Haitian Voodoo while there is corruption from the Duvalier regime and the Tonton Macoute that scares most Haitians.

Bones: Iíve said this plenty of times that Peele could and should remake this movie or make a movie with a similar story line. While the 2001 movie with Snoop, Pam Grier, Khalil Kain, and Clifton Powell was low budget, completely dated, and has some of the worst acting lines ďthe gangsta of love donít eat fried chickenĒ, the storyline is good. It touches a lot of social themes like how the drug epidemic destroyed the inner cities, corrupt cops, gentrification, and buying ownership of the hood.

The People Under The Stairs: Deals with evictions, hoarding of wealth, and creepy landlords.

What other movies should Peele remake or draw inspiration from?

Me personally I think he should change direction and try some more original content ok he remade Rumplestiltskin (Candyman) Skelton Key (Get Out) Twilight Zone etc. Us was cool but it was borderline boring

That said if he does another remake I wouldn't mind him attacking the food and water by given his take on this

I prefer OG content

But as far as remakes even though it’s a newer movie I feel a black version of Parasite would be fire..

Rewatch it. There's a whole scene that discusses how projects were converted into luxury apartments, like the one the main couple lived it.

the people under the stairs is an obvious standout cause it already touched on racism/classism

True and I agree, that would be dope as well.

People under the stairs is truly one of my favorite childhood movies.

It would serve a challenge because the original was a masterpiece but would definitely welcome it if it’s done…

It could be right up his alley cuz the film deals with exploitation and gentrification.

But the original is as good as it get

And it could end up looking like Spike Lee's ganja and Hess. A shot for shot remake that was bad. The worst unnecessary remake I have ever seen
