Exactly. I thought it was going to be that guy presenting for the whole video. May neee to find that. The dude speaking during the video doesn’t even say anything of substance. Only thing I learned was the Ethiopian calendar has a 13th month, which I knew their timekeeping was different

The Gregorian calendar was introduced in the 1500’s. There were a bunch of calendars in use before then, and still some used today

The true new year starts in March. Its even hidden in the Gregorian calendar itself. The root word in the last four months corresponds to a number
Sept - 7
Octo - 8
Novem - 9
Dec - 10
But yet we’re told these are months 9 to 12 and the new year starts in January. Keep counting and the last month ends up being February which means March starts the new year. March is the start of Spring and has the Vernal Equinox

The latin word for each day of the week corresponds to a planet
Sunday - Dies Solis - Sun
Monday - Dies Lunae - Moon
Tuesday - Dies Martis - Mars
Wednesday - Dies Mercurii - Mercury
Thursday - Dies Jovis - Jupiter
Friday - Dies Veneres - Venus
Saturday - Dies Saturni - Saturn

I agree that the Gregorian calendar is wrong, but dude doesn’t dive into it

I have always recognized March as the true new year one of my master teachers red pill and blue pill put me on to this it makes no sense that the new year would begin in the middle of winter our ancestors celebrated the new year as a celebration of the end of the winter and spring would yield harvest.

In Africa the true new year begins in Spring. Which makes the most logical sense given harvesting and sowing etc.

Exactly. Nothing new about dead plants and hibernating animals in the middle of winter. New sprouts of crops signals the new year
