All these n*ggas conjuring the ghost of pop smoke ain’t it. And all these 30,000 dollar millionaires in ATL selling a lifestyle ain’t it either.

Hip hop can never die because it’s an appropriation of all popular music

Brooklyn drill definitely did. It peaked already and is starting to die out now, all it’s artists lost most of their steam except Bizzy and 26AR

The Bronx snatched the drill wave and got the city rn

To me a lot of these kids sound the same, it’s hard to differentiate a lot of them. And I wish the music didn’t have the consequences it has. There’s literally no separation between the music and the streets anymore. The NYC murder rate has skyrocketed since the pandemic largely cuz of the explosion of drill rap in popularity

Some of these kids are literal crash dummies too. Kicking over a 13 year old candles

You can’t tell the music from the streets cause you ain’t a street n*gga these n*ggas k*ll (or claim bodies) because the fans watch it like a gladiator match

When you boil it down all its just Geek music for white boys who wanted to live fantasies through the screen.

To me hip hop died when every song was a verse and two hooks. Some of the dudes doing it are dope and have bars. But you really gotta look for them. Kendrick j Cole and drake generation was really the last of the Golden era.

Drill and trap are not hip hop. Just trash rap genres for ngaz who cant rap and producers who cant make beats. Good riddance.

Gotta throw atl in there for no reason. Ny drill is not a thing, its uk drill repurposed by new yorkers. The home of hiphop has been bitin every region for the last 20 years.
