93-95 East Coast Hip Hop Might Be The GOAT Era Of The Genre..

The African Americaness of itimage

The sounds of American blacknessimage

The Jazz, The Soul, The Bluesimage

The Blues bass line in this sh*t is fu*kin crazy. Even though Busta was giving up a little Caribbean flavor on this one, he gotta k*ll himself for that dumb sh*t he said on Drink Champs because everything else on this track is straight up African American.

This is one of the greatest examples of Hip Hop as a genre in my opinion. The bass line and call and response is just crazy

Pete Rock been talkin some dumb sh*t too but his music is African American than a muthafu*ka.

The Jazz on this mufu*ka doeimage

The scratching, the every fu*kin thing. C.L. Smooth be k*llin sh*t too

Bruh, this sh*t is fu*kin stupid.

Goofy n*ggas be claiming Hip Hop was birthed out of cultures from all over the diaspora. It wasn't. It was built on all Black American sh*t, but later on down the line you had sh*t like this were a particular song could be representation of the diaspora.

You got a Jamaican hook and an African American everything else.

This sh*t Hip Hop to the bone gristle. The bass line, the scratching, everything is piff.

Man this was a beautiful time to be black in America right here.

The Jazz man. That sh*t mean. When them horns drop.image

This might be the GOAT track image done made in Hip Hop

Above The Rim image

I can tell Granddaddy IU a n*gga that was influential to some of the n*ggas that came after him in the city.

New Jersey Drive imageVideo classic.

The Jazzimage

The Jazz imageSound like some sh*t off Sugar Hillimage

This whole sound and look is just the epitome of Hip Hop to me. My earliest era. This was Hip Hop when I came in the game so this what its gon be.

Bruh the whole sound of this era just gives me that holiday in the 90s feeling manimage

What's fu*kin wit it?

I somewhat agree on movies but hip hop went through so many changes and got bigger and better for the most part as the regions started getting more national exposure

Yeh thatís when the full commercialisation of hip hop was in full effect but up unti Iíd say 06/07 every region still had their own sound and the mainstream was way more varied

Yeh itís definitely lacking in variety for the last couple of years but Iíve always thought as a living breathing entity and will always go through changes, only thing holding it back from those changes now are corporate interests
