I don't understand how fans choose the best Reggaeton artists to listen to.

They don't be talking bout nothing. Just ride the beat with whatever words fit.

The best artist the one who got the best beat selection I guess

Not at all bro, respect. I always show love to people who want to indulge in latin culture, especially if they're not from there. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

For me personally, the best reggaeton songs are the ones you can listen to with a female that makes their panties drop when they listen to them.

Ozuna had a dope flow on his earlier work but he fell off lately, I heard rumors he murked his ghost write or something over some gay sh*t and beat the case.

This song is a panty dropper

A lot of it is about the beat/vibe just like hip hop.

This song is on some player sh*t

"I'm with your friend but I always wanted with you"

Alot of the new school reggeaton artists are taking aspects from hip hop

To be fair, all of these songs are about 3-4 years old but I think they still go hard. I haven't been paying attention to any new music lately.

Here's a few more tracks you might like if you like the songs I posted. These songs are a little bit newer you probably heard some of them.

More player sh*t

The Problem

"One of them talks to me bad, the other one tells me that she loves me when we're doing it........the problem is I don't want to leave either one"

Bad Bunny on this goes hard

"...You're telling me to keep going....I'm going to keep giving it to you until god says"

Steal somebodies chick with this one

"Why are you still with him?.....you told me while drunk he dont hit it right. You warm up his food but he doesn't know how to eat it."

The vibe on this one is dope

"You and your friends are freaky, when i take yall through the city, quiet like hello kitty"

These songs are a little bit more trap sounding

The beat on this is from a young jeezy song but still on some lover boy sh*t

These songs are basically rap in spanish

This song is mainly sh*t talking, shouts out 2pac and says he's the new 50 cent. Claims he invented trap. Pretty cool song and video though

This one they claim to be "gods". "The gods have come out.....now endure the saga" Video is dope too

Lil wayne drops a non autotune verse on here

The greats are not relevant or heard of on the radio or clubs. The top hip hop songs that get radio, streaming and club spins are as informative or lacks content just as much as the top club reggaeton hits. Pop radio don't care about content. You are painting one brush over Reggaeton based on club and radio play. It would be no different then someone painting a brush over hiphop based on todays top hip hop songs that lack content but encourages the ladies to twerk. There are Reggaeton artist that don't fit the bill just like there are hip hop artist (legends) that don't fit the bill....unless you know where to look. Reggaeton or any other Genre isn't much different. Pop records is not about content but sound. can someone dance to this sound. Nas is my favorite artist. I wouldn't play Nas in a party where I'm trying to get the girls to dance and get freaky. I'm playing some top Hip Hop and top Reggaeton that lack content.
