I got Coinbase as of now. But I'm thinking about exploring my options for different cryptos that Coinbase doesn't have. Might look into bread wallet or blockstream green. Advice anybody?

We can give you onions but always do your own research.

Ledger is hands down # 1 when it comes to hard/cold wallets.

Here's the link to show you which coins/tokens it supports right now:

Trezor is good and the # 2 right now, but their devices have been hacked.

Here are the coins/tokens it supports:

The Ledger device has never been hacked. And believe me, they are trying. Gov'ts, private companies and citizens. And nobody has had yet to do it.

Thanks I'll look at those that you named I went ahead and downloaded bread wallet as a personal crypto wallet so I can do my online gambling without worrying about Coinbase banning me cause I heard Coinbase doesn't want people gambling it's regulated as fu*k.

I'll look into ledger as well right now I'm fu*kin with bread wallet. I'm just gonna use coinbase as for extra crypto coins selections and also for taxes to IRS just to stay off the government radar from tax evasion.

So if you keep your Bitcoin or any crypto online and digital along in your crypto wallet without selling it they can't tax it right?

The only thing that is not a taxable event is buying and holding.

Or if you buy and it loses value and you sell it.

If you transfer to another wallet, person or use it in a transaction, it is a taxable event, EACH TIME.

If you realize a cash profit from your transaction it is considered income and therefore subject to tax.

It's simple.

Buy something for $100 and sell it for $150. You earned $50 that is subject to income tax.
