I wish Lamborghini was it's own company and didnt share parts with the rest of volkswagen brands.
This just a better looking and better tuned R8 - that cost a lot more

This is false in relation to the Aventador and the R8

The Aventador has a CFRP Monocoque made in Italy.

The R8 is made from German Aluminum at the Audi Plant.

The R8 shares its V10 engine with the Huracan - - - which is clearly not the V12 from the Aventador.

The Suv's are what share chassis technology but between Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini - they are all still different enough that they stand out as completely different vehicles.

Feel free to keep complaining on boxden about supercars tho

Serious question because I don't know much about supercars. If I had all the money in the world and I wanted the most expensive and luxurious car in the world for myself...which car would it be?

Most expensive and most luxurious arent exactly directly correlated.

Most expensive is probably going to be a very rare hypercar.

Most luxurious could be a variety of offerings from special coach builders that hand build and customize whatever you want in low volume.

Heres an article featuring some of the most expensive cars sold new - they start at 1.4mill and go up from there.

This is an all time list however and these cars are collectible rare vehicles so trying to buy 1 later will be difficult and should cost more.

There are a couple luxury cars on the list tho - Maybach and Rolls Royce

True but in the mechanics/engineering world we looked at these cars the same. The major difference is the leathers used/set up & tune.

The spirit of that car is a Volkswagen/Audi though
That would be on my mind everytime I got into that thing

It's obvious you've never driven a Lamborghini so I'll let you slide.

I bought a BMW 5 years ago since then have driven many of the different models
Driven other luxury cars
Yes there are differences between the models but they kind of feel the same depending on the manufacturer
A Mercedes feels like a Mercedes
A BMW feels like a BMW no matter the model etc
Even the different generations feel similar (reason why I am keeping my 5 year old car with 50K miles on it - doesnt make sense to spend 60K on the new one )
Don't doubt the Lambo is a great car and better than anything I have driven -- but for 500K plus .... I'm good, I would want something with more exclusivity

Just play the waiting game if you’re really into these cars

Depreciation is crazy and 2000 - 2005 Lambos are attainable cars for a lot of people

Plus gas cars will be much less attractive in a few years so their prices will decrease outside of a few outliers like the Dodge Demon

This will not be the case for too much longer. Right now you can get an 04 Gallardo for like $80k. In the next 2 years those cars will be well over $100k. Same thing for the Murcielago and all the rest of the old school Lambo's. V12s are going the way of the dinosaur and Lamborghini is moving towards electric powertrains with a full EV by the end of the decade. If you want one, now is really the time to get it.
